掌握这几个表逻辑关系的连接词到底有多重要-实例讲解

Coherence and Cohesion是雅思写作中很重要的一条评分标准。简单而言，它所强调的就是句子与句子之间，段落与段落之间的一种逻辑关联。我们知道，汉语主要是通过意思来传达这种逻辑关系，而英语则体现在形式上，即通过一些连接词的使用来表明各个部分之间的关系。说到这儿，我想连接词的恰当使用对于写作的重要性已是不言而喻。那么，除此之外，掌握这些连接词还有没有什么其它好处呢？今天，我将站在听力和阅读的角度上来论述这个问题。
（1）Well, green isn’t my favorite color, but yellow is.But anyway it is better than that awful brown one we have now.(高考听力模拟测试题）

以上材料选自高考模拟试题中的一道题，在这道题中，很大一部分考生都选择了A选项。原因是听力录音中isn’t否定部分读得很轻，基本上听起来近似于is。其实，在听力中，这些否定词一般都会弱读。那么问题来了？我们如何越过障碍，选出正确选项呢？其实，这个时候，只要稍稍注意到后面的连词就可以作出正确的选择。我们知道，but是一个转则连词，前后应该是一种对比关系。抓住了一点，我们可以立马推断出前面含有一个not,

以上题目选自于ReadWorks网站上的两道阅读题。其实，这道题的解答并不需要我们太多的参照阅读材料，它考察的就是考生对逻辑关系的把握。题目一中Shine’s experiment received a lot of criticism.可以看作是一个topic sentence, 后面说的是detractors对他所选试验地的质疑。显然，稍加分析一下，我们就可以发现后面是针对criticism所举的一个例子。所以，这里选择的答案应该就是D选项。同样，题目二比较的是Bart和Patsy两个人对湖的另一边的看法，Bart认为湖的另一边exciting and magical,而Patsy则认为湖的另一边unexciting，exciting 和unexciting是一组反义词，构成的是一种对比关系。所以，毫无疑问，这道题的正确答案应该是A选项。
类似的例子不胜枚举，这里就不再一一论述。最后，我想对一些常见的表逻辑关系的连接词作一个小的总结。
转折关系：but, however, on the contrary, nevertheless...
因果关系：because, since, as, thanks to, owing to, as a result of...
让步关系：though, although, even if, even though...
递进关系：what’s more, moreover, in addition, furthermore...
条件关系：if, unless, as long as...
表列举：for example, for instance...
表总结：in short, in brief, in conclusion, in a word...
